Auto Dealer Fraud includes any misleading practices used by auto dealers in order to increase the chances that someone will make a purchase. These acts can take place in all parts of the process, or even before in advertising.
The severity of the fraud varies from case to case. The fraud may involve overpricing or selling a car under false pretences such as labeling it as new when it was returned or has a mechanical problem. There are many other examples of fraud and if you think you have experienced one the first thing to do is contact the dealer to attempt to fix the problem. If they are not cooperative, then the buyer can pursue legal means of solving the issue.
