Program for People Living in Institutions for Mental Diseases (IMD) Leave Days

People on Program IM who are on a conditional release or convalescent leave from an Institution for Mental Diseases (IMD) are no longer considered living in an IMD.

People are not eligible for Program IM while on a conditional release or convalescent leave. They may be enrolled in MA during their leave days if they meet all MA eligibility requirements.

No change in eligibility happens for people enrolled in MA while living in an IMD while on a leave. See Institute for Mental Diseases for a list of people who maintain MA enrollment while living in an IMD.
